Studied host-BBrMV/BBTV interactions in banana and identified candidate biomarker
Identified and cloned full length candidate resistant genes against BBrMV, Foc race1 and TR4
Identified genic SSR markers associated with resistance to Foc race1 and TR4
Identified a SSR marker which differentiates red banana from its green variant
Identified a SSR marker associated with seedlessness in banana
